After successfully graduating from law school, Paul D. Santangini began his career as a clerk at the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. He then went on to join the New Jersey Bureau of Securities in Newark, where he worked diligently to uncover instances of fraud, theft, and other financial and regulatory abuses involving securities brokers.
Following this experience, Mr. Santangini decided to settle in South Jersey and joined the respected Law Office of Salvatore Alessi. There, he passionately defended both individuals and companies involved in personal injury cases.
In 2002, Mr. Santangini embarked on a new path by establishing his own solo practice in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. Here, he specialized in personal injury and criminal defense cases, representing clients in both Superior Court and Municipal Court. Additionally, he also offered his expertise in the field of matrimonial law.
With a proven track record of success and a deep understanding of the legal matters he handles, Mr. Santangini is committed to representing his clients with integrity, professionalism, and a steadfast dedication to achieving the best possible outcome in their cases. Paul D. Santangini, now a seasoned lawyer with extensive experience, was appointed by Governor Jon Corzine to the prestigious New Jersey Attorney General’s Office – Division of Criminal Justice in 2007. As a Deputy Attorney General, he has made a significant impact in combating white collar criminals and violent offenders. Mr. Santangini’s commendable career began with his assignment to the esteemed Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor, followed by his placement in the highly competitive Gangs and Organized Crime Bureau.
Notably, Mr. Santangini’s dedication to upholding justice extends beyond his regular duties. He was one of only six Deputy Attorneys General in the entire state assigned to the special unit known as the Attorney General’s Shooting Response Team. In this role, he diligently investigated and prosecuted cases involving unlawful uses of force and police shootings.
To further enhance his expertise, Mr. Santangini was sent by the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office to TOP GUN, a specialized school for gang and narcotic officers and prosecutors. He proudly graduated from Class #37, further solidifying his position as a knowledgeable and trusted professional.
In April of 2022, Paul D. Santangini joined DiTomaso Law, bringing his expertise in a wide range of legal areas. With a focus on Criminal Law, Personal Injury, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Workers’ Compensation, he is dedicated to ensuring justice and advocating for his clients’ rights.
Paul D. Santangini is admitted to practice law in multiple states and federal courts. He was admitted to the bar in New Jersey in 1999 and in Pennsylvania in 2001. He is licensed to practice in the S. District Court District of New Jersey since 1999, the S. District Court Eastern District of Pennsylvania since 2001, and the S. Court of Appeals 3rd Circuit since 2003. 
In addition to his legal career, Mr. Santangini was an Adjunct Professor at Rowan University’s Law & Justice Studies Department from 2010 – 2016. He is deeply committed to the community, having served as Vice-Chairman of the Harrison Township Historic Preservation Commission from 2002 to 2008, he is also a proud member of the Williamstown Lodge #166 of Free & Accepted Masons, having served as Worshipful Master of the Lodge in 2010, and is presently the Vice President of the Jersey Coast Chapter of the Nam Knights of America MC, whose mission it is to raise money for disabled veterans and injured law enforcement officers.
Paul D. Santangini is a distinguished graduate of Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree. He also holds an undergraduate degree from Rutgers University.
