Phillip R. Livingston, P.C. represents client throughout the Houston metropolitan area, in a wide range of legal matters including alternative disputes resolution, business, litigation: commercial, real estate, and construction.
Phillip R. Livingston, founder at the firm has more than 30 years experience as a trial and business attorney. He is admitted to the Texas bar (1985) and New Mexico bar (2020). Phillip is a mediator on a variety of civil commercial, real estate, business, construction and product liability matters. He is an arbitrator in commercial, consumer, real estate and construction matters. Advising commercial and corporate clients on issues affecting their business and ownership interests.
Phillip is also significantly engaged in advising small and medium sized businesses in a variety of matters, including formation, management, acquisitions, mergers and dissolutions. He doesn’t do tax related work or work before the SEC, but have affiliated with attorneys and CPAs experienced in corporate and personal tax matters and with attorneys experienced in dealing with the SEC and related issues. He is engaged in selected representations for broadcast and entertainment clients.
Phillip started his own practice to assist business owners and managers in navigating the legal issues and disputes affecting small to medium sized businesses, as well as to assist them in keeping and enjoying the benefits of their business activities. His goal is to be efficient, effective and affordable for his clients.
Phillip received his J.D.-Juris Doctor from the University Houston Law Center, 1985 and B.A.- Bachelor of Arts in American History and Political Science from Colorado College, 1982. He is a member Houston Bar Association, 1st Judicial District Bar Association, Santa Fe, NM, New Mexico State Bar, Texas Association of Mediators, Texas State Bar College, and Association for Conflict Resolution. Phillip also is a volunteer mediator for the Harris County Dispute Resolution Center.
