Teri Russell is an attorney and part of the team at the law firm of Armstrong & Lee, LLP. She is admitted to practice law in the state of Texas since 2019. Before joining the firm, she spent her second year of law school working at Armstrong & Lee, as an intern, during which she gained experience from and assisted the attorneys in a wide range of personal injury cases. As an attorney, she devotes her areas of practice in personal injury and arbitration. Teri performs intake meetings for new clients and litigates cases for existing clients.
Teri makes you feel like the only person in the room, even if you are in a crowd of hundreds. If you have concerns about your case, she will always take the time to talk to you and give you an honest and clear assessment of your situation. She has a passion for law and goes above and beyond to give our clients piece of mind.
Teri was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. Before heading to college Teri became a licensed massage therapist, where she learned the importance of taking care of a client’s health and well being. Teri has a unique understanding of her client’s concerns regarding their injuries, and what it takes to fully recover from an injury. Teri worked her way through college and graduated from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, with a minor in Business. She worked as a Legal Clerk at a respected firm in Pensacola, where she discovered the depth of her passion for law. Ultimately, Teri decided to move halfway across the country to Houston, where she would have better opportunities, not only for school but to build a future as a lawyer. Teri attended the University of Houston Law Center, where she graduated with her Juris Doctorate Degree in May 2019.
Teri is a member of the Houston Young Lawyers Association, Houston Bar Association, and Houston Trial Lawyers Association.
While attending UHLC Teri was a research scholar for the AAA Yearbook on Arbitration & the Law – 31st Edition. She also served as a Senior Editor for the Houston Journal of International Law and received the Outstanding Comment in International Law Award. Teri was the Hippard Novice Competition Executive on the 2018-2019 Board of Advocates and a member of the University of Houston’s Mock Trial team.
When Teri is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Ray, friends, family, traveling home to Florida, and taking care of her two dogs Flynn & Gemma. Having grown up on the water, Teri is an advanced certified diver and an accomplished sailor.
