Attorney Edward O. Miller has been practicing law for 51 years. He is admitted to the Mississippi Bar, and The U.S. District Court, Northern District of Mississippi. Mr. Miller argued the first case under The Indian Child Welfare Act. It was an adoption case that went to the Supreme Court and then to the Tribal Court where he prevailed for his clients, he also represented Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf (Chris Jackson) in the NBA Draft in 1990 and at the time negotiated the largest contract for a rookie guard in the NBA. Mr. Miller knew him from coaching him in Pee Wee basketball where he played with his son. Mr. Miller received his J.D. from the University of Mississippi, 1969, and B.A. from Mississippi State University, 1996. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association. Mr. Smith holds the coveted “Distinguished” rating form Martindale-Hubbell.
