Fesner Petion founder of the firm, has been practicing law in that state of Florida since 2008. He is admitted to the United States District Court-Southern District of Florida, 2013. He focuses in the areas of personal injury and medical malpractice. He has devoted his practice strictly in representing individuals and medical providers against large insurance companies and corporations. I bring to the client a unique combination of 22 years of combined professional claims and legal experiences; inclusive of 12 years managing auto insurance claims with Progressive Casualty Insurance, 3 years as Insurance Defense Attorney for United Automobile Insurance Company at the Office of the General Counsel- Trial Division. These defense and corporate skills while defending and managing resources for insurance companies, coupled with a long and successful academic background give him an invaluable edge in representing individuals against big insurance companies and private businesses in a broad range of legal matters. Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Petion started his professional career in 1995, where immediately after graduating from St Thomas University, I began working for Progressive Casualty Insurance Company as a Claims Representative. I was involved in investigating, negotiating and settling claims of coverage, collision, fire and theft, property damage, liability, S.I.U, and personal injuries from auto accidents. Two years later, I was promoted as the Team Leader for claims operations with increased responsibilities to oversee a team of generalists that handled the most complex cases involving coverage, liability and injuries claims. Despite the demanding responsibilities of managing a team, I went to graduate school in business; earned an (M.B.A.) and immediately enrolled at Nova University – Shepard Broad Law Center earning my (J.D.) Juris Doctor. He is a member of the National Black Association, the NBMBA Association, the Harvard Business Review Discussion Group and the P&C Claims Professionals.
