Top Attorney – Camille A. Coolidge-Shotwell

Dealing with family issues can sometimes be stressful. The Coolidge Law Group P.A. located in Fort Lauderdale, is led by Attorney Camille Coolidge-Shotwell who is an experienced attorney with over 18 years of legal service and in 2005 founded her own law firm, focusing on families. Camille has dedicated her career to helping people in need at the most distressing moments of their lives. Coolidge Law Group, P.A., also handles cases in Real Estate and Corporate Law.

Camille Coolidge-Shotwell, a South Florida native, and the proud daughter of a retired Air Force Captain and Pan American Pilot, Robert B. Coolidge, who taught his daughter to work hard, take pride in what you do and to always treat others with respect. Since his passing, Camille adheres to the lessons taught by her father and strives to be a shining example of his legacy.

Prior to going to Law School, Camille explored her entrepreneurial desires and started a small business newspaper in Murphy, North Carolina. The newspaper’s primary focus was to promote community and small businesses in the area.

Camille spent several months in Dublin, Ireland exploring her heritage. In 1998, Camille returned to South Florida to attended and graduated from the Nova Southeastern University School of Law.

Camille has raised her sister’s children, Clayton and Lily, since they were infants. Clayton works locally in construction and Lily is attending graduate school at Georgetown University where she is studying public policy.  Camille is married to former Detective with Fort Lauderdale Police Department, Mark Shotwell. Her husband recently retired after a 30 year career in law enforcement.

Camille is also passionate about giving back to our community, and dedicates much of her time to philanthropic organizations such as Making Strides for Breast Cancer, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Tower Foundation, MS Society, Good Karma Pet Rescue of South Florida, Special Olympics, Children in Distress and an active board member of The Hundred Club and The Emerald Society of Ft. Lauderdale. In addition, Camille dedicates her time to the Terri Coolidge Scholarship Fund for children at Parkway Christian School in Davie who have lost a parent in honor of her sister-in-law, who was murdered in 2016.

Camille was honored with the 2018 Emerald Society of Ft. Lauderdale’s “Irish Mother of the Year” award.
