Ivan started his law career in a small town where he was exposed to the many ways law impacts people’s lives. He credits this experience with giving him both the ability to tap into the core values of jurors at trial and an excellent feel for the presentation of complex cases. Ivan is an avid student of the science of decision making and juror persuasion and values what he can learn by both talking to and more importantly, listening to people.

Ivan is the son of a U.S. Marine Major General and grew up in an environment in which one’s word is sacred, and duty and honor are prized values. Ivan received his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law, Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude from Dickinson College. Honors: Phi Beta Kappa. He is a member of State Bar of Georgia, State Bar of Texas and State Bar of West Virginia.

Ivan is married to his lovely wife Lori. They enjoy spending time with their three children, six grandchildren and three dogs.
