Mr. Lowenfels took a strong, principled stance against this discrimination and turned down the opportunity to play, showcasing the strong moral compass that would later define his legal career.

He regularly contributes insightful articles to professional journals and co-authored the comprehensive eight-volume treatise, “Bromberg and Lowenfels on Securities Fraud,” currently in its second edition. He currently serves on the securities and exchanges committee of the New York County Lawyers Association. Furthermore, he has been a vital member of the federal regulation of securities committee with the American Bar Association since 1978, where he previously acted as a lecturer.
