After working as a paralegal and law clerk for an attorney specializing in employment discrimination cases, she found fulfillment in helping others rather than just pushing papers for a big company. Graduating from law school during the recession, she volunteered at the ACLU and clerked for Judge Gale B. Robinson in Nashville, TN before passing the Illinois bar exam in 2009. Landing a job amidst a wave of foreclosures in 2010, she delved into litigating foreclosure cases and witnessed firsthand the evolution of foreclosure laws in Illinois while practicing across Chicagoland courts.
From 2010 to 2013, she defended homeowners before joining a firm representing banks in foreclosures. Realizing she preferred representing individuals rather than corporations, Attorney Pallapothu opened her law practice in 2016. Her time representing banks and lenders gave her a unique insight into how the banks litigate their foreclosure cases.
