Mr. Knapp wrote an enlightening article titled “School Marshals a Common-Sense Solution” for the Spokesman-Review newspaper in Spokane, Washington on March 15, 2018. In January, 2013 he published “Strategies for Defending Firearms Offense Charges” in Aspatore-Thomson Reuters; an article designed to help leading lawyers interpret gun laws with emphasis on defense strategies and protecting clients’ rights.
Mark Knapp earned his JD degree from Gonzaga University School of Law, focusing on Commercial, Criminal, and Antitrust law from 1986 to 1989. During his time there, he was an Associate Editor for the Gonzaga Law Review and was involved in the Christian Legal Society. He also holds a BS degree in Management Technology from Lewis-Clark State College, which he obtained from 1982 to 1986.
