Steven Z. Feuer, is an attorney based in Oneonta, NY. With roots in Yorktown Heights, NY, Steven moved to Oneonta with his wife, Gail, in 1984. Steven earned his undergraduate degree from SUNY Binghamton, where he was a member of the political science honor society and interned with NYS Assembly. He later graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, CA, shortly before being admitted to the NYS Bar in 1985.
Since returning to New York Steven worked for two law firms and gained experience in a range of legal including criminal law, family law and real estate. In 1987, Steven established his own law office in Oneonta, NY, where he practices law in various areas including residential real estate transactions, landlord-tenant law, family law, wills and estates.
Steven believes some of his best work is representing children in Family Court. Steven has been a member of the Otsego County Bar Association for many years and even served as its President from 2007-2008.
Steven is community minded while spending time with his son as he coached little league baseball and soccer teams and served as Scoutmaster for his son’s Boy Scout Troop in Otego, NY and even helped construct a playground for Otego Elementary School. He enjoyed participating in 3-D archery tournaments with his son when he was younger, now he gets to spend time with his grandsons.
In addition, Steven is a long-standing member of the Oneonta Rotary Club, actively supporting its charitable endeavors. He played a crucial role in establishing the Oneonta Rotary Fund, Inc., a 501(c)(3) corporation. He has been a member of the Oneonta Country Club as well as the Oneonta & Unadilla Rod & Gun Clubs.
Steven and his wife, Gail, are also devoted members of Temple Beth El in Oneonta. Steven currently holds leadership positions in the Men’s Club, Cemetery Committee, and Board of Directors. He served as President of the Board from 1988 to 1990.
