Gisele C. Rosado, became a partner at the Murphy, Schisano & Rosado since joining forces with Thomas J. Murphy and Richard Schisano since 2017. In 2007, Gisele first joined the firm as an Associate Attorney. Gisele is licensed to practice law in New York and Florida, as well as various federal district courts. She has served as lead counsel in numerous court actions, arbitrations, and mediations in state, federal and appellate courts.
The focus of Gisele’s practice is transactional real estate, foreclosure defense, consumer bankruptcy, debt negotiation, estate planning, small business formation, sales and acquisitions, and complex civil litigation. Gisele C. Rosado, a Hudson-Valley native, began practicing law in the state of Florida in 2006. She has spent eight of her last sixteen years lending her legal expertise to distressed homeowners in South Florida, one of the regions hardest hit by the 2007 mortgage crisis.
She has worked closely with members of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, pioneering foreclosure defense strategies and tactics against the big banks. After much success in Florida, Gisele returned to her hometown, bringing her experience to the office of Murphy & Schisano and it client’s.
Gisele C. Rosado received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Stetson University College of Law, 2005 and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Tampa, 2002. Gisele is also fluent in Spanish.
She is a member of the Hudson Valley Bankruptcy Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Florida State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Gisele is listed as a “Top Lawyer” in Real Estate by the Hudson Valley Magazine in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Gisele married her husband, Tim, in August of 2022 and is bonus Mom to his beautiful daughter Mikayla, a St. Joseph’s University Graduate. They reside in the Mid-Hudson Valley, near their parents, with their furbaby Roman.
