C. Arthur Robinson II has practiced law since 1985. He is admitted to the Virginia Bar, 1985, U.S. District Court Eastern District of Virginia, 1985, U.S. Bankruptcy Court Eastern District of Virginia, 1985 U.S. Court of Appeals 4th Circuit, 1985 and U.S. Tax Court, 1989. He concentrates in various matters involving taxation, including estate planning, estate and trust administration as well as many areas of business and corporate law. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, an accredited Estate Planner and a Fellow of the American Collage of Trust and Estate Counsel.
C. Arthur Robinson II is a native of Norfolk, He received his J.D. from the College of William and Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law, Williamsburg, Virginia – 1985, earned his M.B. A. from The College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia – 1982 and obtained his B.A. from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee – 1979.
He is a member of several organizations including the Virginia State Bar, American Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Association of Attorney Certified Public Accountants, American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He has authored several articles on a national level concerning probate and property. Mr. C. Arthur Robinson II also advised, served on the Boards of and in Leadership roles in a wide variety of charitable and non-profit organizations.
