Attorney James D. Donovan was raised in Bristol, CT, and is a graduate of Bristol Eastern High School. He received his Associate’s degree from Valencia Junior College in Orlando, Florida, his Bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, and his Juris Doctorate from Western New England School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts. He spent his Law School years as a clerk at Hartford Superior Court.
Mr. Donovan is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Workers Comp Section. He is also very active in community organizations, having served as President of the Bristol Adult Resource Center and The Family Center for girls and boys, and as Chairman for both the St. Anthony School Board and the Bristol Ethics Commission.
