Many of the claimant’s lose their homes, their vehicles and their health insurance after becoming disabled and unable to work rendering them unable to afford healthcare and/or medications. In an effort to help claimants with transportation concerns, Attorney Deborah Mitchell went through an extensive process to have her office certified as an official hearing site whereby Social Security Disability hearings could be held virtually at her office. Since most of the hearing offices were at least an hour away, this was extremely helpful to claimants who did not have vehicles, lacked resources to pay someone to take them to their hearings and/or those who found it difficult to ride in a vehicle for long periods of time. Additionally, Attorney Mitchell and her highly qualified staff have sought out resources to help claimants receive low cost or indigent medial and/or psychological care and medications while they await their Social Security Disability benefits.
