Anthony B. Gordon (Tony) the firm’s principal attorney is a seasoned courtroom litigator with over 30 years of experience. Since 1997, Tony has been practicing in Woodland Hills, California, and across the United States, and also handled international litigation that has taken him to Israel, England, Jersey, Guernsey, South Africa and Holland. Tony focused his practice on matters involving business disputes and commercial and civil litigation. He has experience in copyright infringement, business torts such as fraud and breach of fiduciary duty, sham tax shelters, RICO claims, malpractice and insurance coverage and bad faith actions.
Tony has worked on a range of complex and high-profile matters, including practicing in the litigation department at O’Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles, where he gained experience working on “mega-type cases” such as the Toxic Shock Syndrome litigation, the Coordinated Asbestos Insurance Coverage Case in San Francisco, and the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill trial in Anchorage, Alaska and in association with Ernst & Young’s Johannesburg’s office, represented the South African Reserve Bank in investigating fraud involving exchange control regulations on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. In 2014, he also qualified for inclusion in the Worldwide Registry of Executives, Professionals & Entrepreneurs, and was also nominated as a Trusted Advisor was admitted to San Fernando Valley Business Journal.
Anthony B. Gordon recently obtained a judgment in excess of $3 million in the United States District Court in Los Angeles, California, based on claims of fraud and violations of the RICO statute against the promoter and founder of a sham bank known as The Alps, purportedly operating out of the World Trade Center in Stockholm, Sweden. Based on the evidence Tony uncovered and after presenting excerpts from the videotaped deposition of the main defendant in the case, U.S. Federal District Judge Dale S. Fischer.`

Anthony B. Gordon received his legal education at the University of Witwatersrand School of Law in Johannesburg, South Africa. During the 12 years that he practiced in South Africa, Tony gained experience as a prosecutor in the criminal courts. He was then seconded to the Attorney General’s staff as a State Advocate, where he prosecuted capital cases in the Supreme Courts of both the Transvaal and Natal Provincial Divisions. In 1972, he joined the Johannesburg Bar where he practiced as a barrister, where he represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of different types of cases, both criminal and civil.
Anthony B. Gordon is married to his wife and law partner, Linda. In his free time, Tony serves on the Legal Advisory Board for the Anti-Defamation League in Los Angeles, an organization dedicated to fighting anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry, defending democratic ideals, and protecting civil rights for all.
