Nicholas A. Longo a partner at the Bachand, Longo & Higgins started with firm in 1960. He currently focuses on estate planning, probate, banking, and real estate. He also served as the General Counsel for The Citizens National Bank from 1969 to 2015. Mr. Longo was also an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, with the 11th Circuit Court from 1961-1965 and Deputy Coroner, Windham County, from 1965-1972.
Attorney Longo received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, 1959 and his B.A. from Clark University, Worcester, Massachusetts, 1956. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Windham County Bar Association, Member of Board of Directors, Putnam Savings, and Loan Association 1969-1978, Member of Board of Directors, Citizens National Bank, 1969-2015 and General Counsel, Citizens National Bank, 1969-2015.
Community Activities: Mr. Longo was involved in were Past Chairman, of the Town of Putnam Zoning Board of Appeals, Past President, of Putnam Area Chamber of Commerce, the Putnam Board of Education, the State Board of Education, and the Vision for Putnam Committee.
