Attorney John (Jack) Collins has been practicing law since 1977, admitted to the Kentucky Bar, U.S. district Court, Eastern District of Kentucky and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit. His areas of concentration include personal injury, workers’ compensation, Social Security, mineral law (coal, oil, gas) and civil litigation. Jack’s secret to success has been his ability to communicate with people not as a lawyer but as a friend.
Jack received his J.D. from the University of Kentucky, 1977 and his B.S. from Northern Kentucky University, 1974. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Kentucky Justice Association and American Association for Justice.
Jack helped establish a high school football program for Magoffin County High School and was also a driving force behind the local option election that approved the sale of alcohol in Magoffin County, Kentucky.
His honors include: Founding Father Magoffin County Football; and being elected Magoffin County Attorney 1990.
Mr. Collins daughter Kellie Collins, is a partner in Golden Law Office in Lexington, KY, and Son Alex Collins is a Quality Control Senior Manager for Novartis Gene Therapies.
