Lynn E. Markham, founder of the firm has been practicing law for more than 40 years, including 14 years as a Judge in the Houston County Court At Law with jurisdiction over probate cases. As a Judge, he also served by assignment in courts in Dallas, Ft. Worth, San Antonio, Denton, Tyler, Bastrop, Waxahachie, Lufkin, Palestine, Nacogdoches, and other locations. He Specializes in Wills, Trusts, Probate Law, & Estate Planning. In 1999, Mr. Markham returned to private practice in Crockett, Texas.
Mr. Markham attended the United States Air Force Academy on an athletic appointment before obtaining his BBA & J.D. degrees from Baylor University in 1977. After law school, he worked as Trust Officer at Oak Cliff Bank and Trust in Dallas, Texas. He is a member of the board of directors of Texas Legal Insurance, a non-profit corporation created by the State Bar of Texas more than 45 years ago to make legal services more accessible to Texans.
In 1982, Lynn became director of marketing and legal affairs for CISCO Computer Systems Company where he established dealers in 25 states.
After realizing that many of his clients were making less than optimal financial decisions, Lynn obtained his insurance and Series 65 securities licenses before becoming a Certified Retirement Counselor ®. In 2019, he became a managing director of USTaxReduction.com, a team of tax reduction professionals dedicated to reducing and eliminating taxes for their clients.
Mr. Markham holds the coveted “Client Review” review from Martindale Hubbell. He was recently honored to have been asked to HOST a Live Estate Planning Webinar sponsored by Texas Legal Insurance.
