Xavier A. Palacios, the firm’s managing partner is an expert in immigration law. He is admitted to practice law in the state of New York since 1997. He keeps abreast the ever changing laws and growing customer expectations, constantly expanding frontier of immigration laws and integrating innovative technology in his daily operations. Mr. Palacios also handles cases in personal injury. He has tried thousands of cases and has reached favorable decisions on the majority of them. Prior to starting his firm, Mr. Palacios was a partner at Pillari, Vella & Palacios since 2001.

Mr. Palacios received his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law, Boston, Massachusetts, 1995 and  Bachelor of Arts in Political science from Columbia University. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, Long Island Hispanic Bar Association, and National Immigration Project.

He is also proactive in Pro Bono Activities, and is Co-Founder, of the non for profit – Friends of Huntington Station Latin Quarter, 2010, Member, of the Huntington School Board, Member of the Board, Huntington School Board, 2012, the Board of Directors at Huntington Hospital, part of Northwell Health and President of Friends of Huntington Station Latin Quarter.

Mr. Palacios was recognized as “Litigator of The Year” by the American Institute of Trial Lawyers, Lawyers of Distinction in 2020, Listed as the Top 40 Under 40 by the Association of America’s Top Lawyers in 2020 and honored as the “Elite Advocate” by the American Institute of Legal Advocates.
