Researched and drafted decisions in connection with cases heard before the Court, which involved extensive analysis of law involving real property valuation and construction law.
In addition, Charles is an AAA arbitrator and panel chairman on numerous arbitration cases since 1999. He has numerous commercial, construction and consumer disputes involving contract terms and conditions, change orders, delays, design defects, and liquidated damages. Served as counsel in cases involving construction, commercial, real estate, and architectural fee disputes and as neutral in substantial commercial contract disputes involving major NYSE listed corporations.
Prior to starting his own firm, Charles was Law Secretary to Hon. Dorothea E. Donaldson, New York State Court of Claims, 1967 – 1971, an Associate at the Law Firm of Blazi & Zimmerman Esqs., 1972.
Charles received his J.D. from Washington & Lee University, School of Law, 1966, B.S. in Economics from New York, 1963.
