Born in Conway, AR, Faulkner County Ms. Grinder was raised on a farm with her parents, John and Freeda Rice, her older brother, Johnny M Rice, and younger sister, Jeannie Rice, As a close-knit family, she has always had a close connection with them throughout her entire life.

Ms. Grinder attended public school in the Faulkner County School District through high school and graduated in 1972.

She married Jerry Lee Grinder in 1976, who raised, trained, and sold paint horses. After his passing in 2019, she carried on his paint horse business in his honor.

Ms. Grinder attended the University of Central Arkansas and graduated in 1978 and then attended School of Law in Little Rock, AR, and graduated in 1981. She is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association.Top Attorneys of North America
