Mr. Davis began his legal career by signing on with the Georgia Legal Services Migrant Project, to pursue issues arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Agricultural Protection Act. While his representation of farm workers was receiving national attention, Mr. Davis began learning about disability law. He handled claims at the hearing and appellate levels, and was fortunate enough to assist in prosecuting an important case in the Eleventh Circuit.

After that he worked as an associate with the firm of Nathan Deal and Tom Jarrard in Gainesville, Georgia, dealing with a variety of types of cases, in various Courts, but still developing his experience with disability issues. In a few years he was practicing disability law exclusively, representing claimants all over Georgia, and eventually South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama and Tennessee, as well.

Born in Kentucky, and raised in Georgia, Mr. Davis left the South at the age of 17 when he enlisted in the U.S. Marines. After serving four years in the infantry, he attended college on the GI bill, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts at Boston in 1981, with the unlikely degree in Classical Studies and Russian. For the next couple of years, he worked in construction until he gained admission to Mercer University School of Law, in Macon, Georgia, obtaining his Juris Doctor. He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR).

He is married to Ms. Regina Wilson, who started the firm. She was a social worker in inner-city Atlanta, dedicating herself to defending the rights of children. Ms. Wilson realized that she could be a better advocate for their needs as an attorney. Since earning her law degree, Ms. Davis has practiced disability law exclusively.

Fellow partner, Ann Patterson has had a distinguished legal career. She was the first female appointed Assistant District Attorney in the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit, which serves Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, and Walker Counties. For ten years, she was also the Municipal Court Judge of Fort Oglethorpe, the first woman to hold such a position in Catoosa County. As Assistant DA and later a Judge, Ms. Patterson witnessed the challenges faced by the people of North Georgia. Since the early 1980s, she has devoted herself to helping them collect the government benefits they deserve.
