They also defend employers in state and federal courts in actions ranging from harassment and discrimination to wage and hour disputes. Anthony Raimondo and his legal team advocate for employers in administrative agency proceedings and investigations including the National Labor Relations Board, the Agricultural Labor Relations Board, the California Labor Commissioner, U.S. Department of Labor, Cal/OSHA, EEOC, workers’ compensation, and civil and criminal actions in serious workplace accidents, including fatalities. Anthony Raimondo is the President and Managing Partner of Raimondo | Miller. He has been representing employers since 2001. His first experience as an attorney was working abroad, in Bosnia, working on voter registration following the country’s civil war. Mr. Raimondo has also worked as a Fresno County Public Defender which sharpen his courtroom skills. He has been working to assist employers with strategic planning in labor relations, and he has been counseling employers day-to-day with workplace issues to avoid litigation.

Mr. Raimondo defends class action lawsuits and other complex cases, as well as handling sexual harassment and discrimination claims.  Mr. Raimondo has built Human Resource departments from the ground up, and is a valued risk management resource for his clients.  He has assisted clients with government investigations and audits, and handles serious accident cases and OSHA matters. In addition, Mr. Raimondo has successfully turned back organizing campaigns from some of America’s most aggressive unions and has negotiated favorable contracts for unionized employers.

His most notable cases:  are representing the defendant in Arias v. Superior Court (2009), establishing that representative actions under Business and Professions Code §17200 brought by private plaintiffs must be brought as class actions. Additionally, Mr. Raimondo also represented the defendant in the Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella Inc. v Santisteban case, wherein the Court of Appeal upheld our dismissal of a lawsuit related to a workplace fatality.

Mr. Raimondo received his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude Honor from Vermont Law School, 1997 and Bachelors of Arts in English from Colorado College, Colorado Springs, 1993. He is a member of the Fresno County American Bar Association, State Bar of California, California Association of Agricultural Labor, Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation, Agricultural Personnel Management Association,Western United Dairymen and the Fresno City College Training Institute.

Mr. Raimondo is the primary labor and employment resource for California’s Western United Dairymen and he regularly publishes articles in industry newsletters and magazines. Mr. Raimondo has been an instructor and resource, for over a decade, for the Fresno City College Training Institute’s farm labor contractor continuing education programs, and has pioneered the representation of farm labor contractors in California. Mr. Raimondo is in demand as a public speaker, and has spoken at corporate events and conferences nationwide.
