Chris Pratt is the sole practitioner at The Law Offices of Chris M. Pratt, P.A., where he focuses in the areas of Criminal Law and Family Law as well as some Personal Injury cases. Chris has also dealt with cases featuring large securities fraud and documents, trafficking and the sale of illegal drugs, all types of sex offenses, DUI and DUI manslaughter, and domestic violence. Prior to starting his own firm, Chris had a short stint working in the public defender’s office, where he went into private practice with Pratt, Rhyne, and Lipinski, P.A. Since 1991. A lifelong resident of Manatee County, FL, Chris M. Pratt, Esq., was a candidate for Manatee County Judge, Group 4.

Chris received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, 1982 and undergraduate degree from Lenoir-Rhyne College. He is a member of the Florida Bar and Manatee County Bar Association and has been actively involved in the local legal community for years. He is a former member of the Manatee County New Courthouse Committee, Indigent Services Committee, and Florida Bar Grievance committee.

In addition to his service, he was awarded the Slater award for Professionalism in the Practice of Criminal Law in 2016. Chris and his wife live in Bradenton.
