Todd M. Schiffmacher is a seasoned litigator with over 23 years of experience. He has extensive experience representing clients in various civil and commercial litigation matters including breach of contract claims, property disputes, debt collections, fraud claims, landlord / tenant disputes and evictions, real estate matters, mechanics’ liens, labor law claims and construction and contractor disputes.

He is personal counsel to several businesses, construction companies and real estate companies. His goal is not only to resolve the case, whether litigated or not, in a timely and efficient manner without sacrificing the best possible result but to also put his clients in a position to make informed decisions about their cases and, thus, their futures.

In addition to business matters, Todd has represented hundreds of clients in various personal injury matters including car accidents, premises liability matters, product liability cases, animal bites, wrongful death and construction accidents. Having previously worked as trial counsel for a large personal injury firm and as an associate attorney for several boutique defense firms, he has not only tried numerous cases to verdict and obtained millions of dollars for plaintiffs, but he has also defended individuals, businesses, companies, school districts, municipalities and police departments on behalf of insurance companies. He has consistently been recognized as one of the area’s top car and truck accident attorneys.

Todd received his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law and Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude in English and Political Science from St. John Fisher College. He is a member of the New York Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association, Erie County Bar Association and Buffalo Niagara 360.

Todd is married and has three children. He serves as a youth soccer coach / trainer and is a member of the Knights of Columbus and Pancreatic Cancer Network. He enjoys reading, camping and running obstacle course races.
