Prior to embarking on her legal career, Ms. Florant worked with AT&T Labs in Middletown, NJ as an IT Analyst and later a Specialist IT Business Manager focusing on Project Management. While pursuing her legal studies, Ms. Florant was engaged with various attorneys in various areas of the law including Family Law, Trust and Estates, and Bankruptcy.
Since graduating law school, Ms. Florant has worked on a wide range of legal matters. She has handled legal matters in areas of Aviation Law, Business, Intellectual Property, and Entertainment Law, Real Estate, Landlord/Tenant law, Family Law, Estate Planning, Litigation, and Bankruptcy.
Florant received her Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law and graduated Cum Laude from Rutgers University – New Brunswick campus with a BA in Information Technology. She also holds a Certificate in Project Management obtained from Stevens Institute of Technology Project Management graduate certificate program.
Ms. Florant is a member of the New Jersey State and Middlesex County Bar Associations. She is also a volunteer attorney with Legal Services of New Jersey – a nonprofit offering legal help in civil cases for low-income residents of New Jersey.
Ms. Florant is a published author of an article titled, Unwed Fathers in the 21st Century: A Chance for Positive Change, 19 Scholar 57 (2017).
