William E. Sisler received his J.D. from the University of Illinois, B.A. from the University of Iowa, 1965. After law school Mr. Sisler was a Vista Volunteer. He also served his country serving in the U.S. Army (Vietnam Veteran) He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Stephenson County Bar Associations.Vice Chairman of the States Attorneys Appellate Service Commision in 1978 and 1979, elected to the Prosecutors Advisory Council of Illinois in 1977, 1978 and 1979. In May of 2001 he was appointed by the Supreme Court of Illinois to the Capital Litigation Trial Bar Screening Committee, 2nd Appellate District, and resigned in August of 2004. Mr. Sisler is in the Private Practice of Law, Freeport, Illinois  from 1980-present.

Mr. Sisler was the recipient of the Outstanding Young Man of America, 1975 and is recognized by Martindale-Hubbell.
