William E. Eick Partner at Eick & Freeborn was admitted to practice law in 1973. He was raised in North Hollywood, lives in Shadow Hills and has practiced law in La Crescenta for over 25 years. Bill’s area of concentration is probate and estate planning. He also has an extensive background in real estate and oil and gas law. Bill’s secret to success has been his ability to get along well with his clients.
Bill received his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California and Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California. He is an active member of the California State Bar.
Bill is on the Board of Directors of the Fond Land Preservation Foundation which purchases and preserves privately owned but publicly accessible open space in Los Angeles County. To date, the Foundation has acquired in excess of 550 acres, mostly in the Verdugo Mountains. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Shadow Hills Property Owners Association (SHPOA), for over 30 years, the Los Angeles City Proposition K-Valley Volunteer Neighborhood Council Oversight Committee for over 8 years (made recommendations for allocation of park bond money) and helped draft current Los Angeles City Slope Density Ordinance.
