He has garnered a wide variety of business experience — having worked as a building contractor, as a Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel in industrial manufacturing, and in retail. He has put in the long work weeks that come with running a small business. He has served his community as a little league coach, and he is currently the president of his temple and a community representative for the Hoffman Estates Park District. His entire experience, not just his experience practicing law, is important.
Mr. Kaplan received his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law, in Gainesville, Florida, 1986, M.B.A. from Roosevelt University, Chicago-Schaumburg Campus, Illinois, 2003, Bachelor of Building Construction from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, 1983. He is a member of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, Trustee, Friends of HE Parks Foundation.
