Thomas Baird is a founding shareholder of Baird, Crews, Schiller & Whitaker, P.C. He leads the firm’s Estate Planning, Business Entities, Family Business Succession Planning, and Real Estate practices. He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the areas of Estate Planning & Probate Law, Residential Real Estate Law, Commercial Real Estate Law, and Farm & Ranch Real Estate Law. Mr. Baird has extensive experience in representing clients in these practice areas.
Mr. Baird received his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas, 1977 and Bachelor of Arts, from Texas Tech University, 1975.
Mr. Baird is a member of the College of the State Bar, the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, and the American Council of Trust and Estate Planning, and is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. Mr. Baird serves on boards of directors and advisory boards for several banks, manufacturing companies and other businesses and charitable entities. He has written articles and spoken for Continuing Legal Education conferences. He is very active in the community.

Mr. Baird and his wife Lucinda have six children and seven grandchildren, all residing in Texas.
