The Law firm of Moak & Moak, P.C. located in Huntsville, Texas was established in 1972 by Founding Attorney Oliver James Moak. Sam Moak joined his father in the practice of law in 1997.
The small law firm built its foundation on dedication and reaching the highest ideals of ethics while maintaining close relationships with their clients. Since the passing of Oliver James Moak in 2014, Sam Maok and staff will continue his father’s legacy by providing high quality representation, trust, and respect for each of his clients and the community.
Sam A. Moak was admitted to practice law in the State of Texas since 1997. After a very successful career in criminal and civil litigation, he now focuses his practice on Estate Planning, Probate, Elder Law, Real Estate and Transactional law.
Mr. Sam A. Moak utilizes state-of-the-art technology and cost-effective methods. He keeps his clients abreast of the ever-changing laws and how it applies to their case. In addition, he provides services in a timely, ethical, friendly and client-oriented manner.
A proud native of Huntsville, Texas, Sam attended Texas A&M University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. He worked in engineering sales until deciding to listen to his father to become a lawyer. He earned his Juris Doctorate at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, but not before Clerking for Judge Charlie Baird Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and attending the University of Texas School of Law.
Sam A. Moak is a member of the Texas Bar Association, Maintaining Member of the Texas Bar College, on the Huntsville Independent School Board, Deacon at First Christian Church of Huntsville, Walker County Bar Association, Vice President Texas A&M Club Huntsville, Vice President Kiwanis Club Huntsville, Member of the Walker County Fair Association – Chairman of Children’s Barnyard and Formerly on the Board of Directors for Fellowship of Christian Athletes – Sam Houston State University, Former Vice President of the Walker County Fair Association.
