Mr. Arthur Skibell has been practicing law since 1966. He is admitted to the Texas State Bar, Fifth Court of Appeals, Texas Northern District, Texas Western District Court Court and Texas Eastern District Court. His areas of concentration include probate, estate planning and real estate.

With a broad legal background, Attorney Skibell has years of experience in commercial litigation and in advising owners and managers in small to medium sized business in their corporate, financial, and real estate needs.

He represents clients in business and litigation settings and resolving disputes as well as negotiating contracts, leases, and related matters. Mr. Skibell also does volunteer work for non profits. His secret to success has been in having good relationships.

Prior to forming Bird and Skibell, P.C. Mr. Skibell was Vice President and General Counsel of Rodeway Inns of America (Sept. 1971-August 1980). Prior to joining Rodeway, Mr. Skibell maintained a securities law practice with the law firm of Spinuzzi & Girand (1969-1971). Mr. Skibell served as an Assistant Attorney General of the State of Texas under Crawford Martin ( 1967-1969) following completion of active duty in the USAR.

Mr. Arthur Skibell received his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law and received his B.A. from the same university.
