Michael H. Maizes has been practicing law since 1985. He is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Florida and various Federal Courts, including the United States Supreme Court. Attorney Maizes, has tried hundreds of cases to verdict, for plaintiffs and defendants, in civil and criminal matters. He holds additional Insurance and Real Estate brokerage licenses and is a judicial referee. Many of Mr. Maizes’ clients are former adversaries, law firms and their partners, brokers and other professionals. A substantial portion of current clients come from referrals and recommendations and word of mouth.

Mr. Maizes is also the Senior Vice President, In-House Counsel and CFO of SFM Entertainment LLC and has executive produced numerous network and cable television shows and events. Michael screens, evaluates and reviews various concepts for television ideas and has worked closely with major clients and producers such as Dick Clark Productions, Warner Brothers, the American Film Institute and TV Guide.  In addition, he has worked with all the major networks and cable venues including CBS, NBC, ABC and TNT.

Mr. Maizes graduated from State University of New York at Albany with honors, and from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1984, where he was on its National Moot Court Team. He is a member of American Bar Association and the Bronx County Bar Association.
