Peter D. Friday founder and partner at Friday & Cox, is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Attorney Friday focuses his practice in the areas of industrial, mining, construction, and maritime accidents, workers compensation, products liability, medical malpractice, automobile accidents and personal injury. He has experience in cases involving occupational safety issues, including fall hazards, machine guarding, chemical exposure and electrical hazards.

Prior to forming the firm, Mr. Friday served as in-house counsel for a major insurance company, practiced law at Pittsburgh-based insurance defense firms and was a partner in a personal injury firm.
Mr. Friday is a graduate of Bucknell University (B.A., Economics and Philosophy, 1983) and the Antioch School of Law (J.D., 1986), he also attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law as a visiting student in 1986. He is a member of the Allegheny County, American Association for Justice, Washington County and Erie County Pennsylvania Bar Associations, He is also a member of the West Virginia State Bar.
