Robert S. Patterson founded the firm Patterson Law in 2004. He has been practicing law for nearly 35 years. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado and California. Attorney Patterson’s objective is to protect the rights of victims of accidents and negligence. Following a successful career at prestigious law firms, he decided that he wanted to work more closely with clients than was possible in a large firm. He opened Patterson Law to provide clients the experience and skills he had gained in a large firm, with a small-firm touch. Robert S. Patterson began his legal career in Golden, Colorado, where he had clerked as a student, serving as a public defender and then as a trial lawyer. He accepted a position as a public defender in Santa Barbara, California and later worked with Santa Barbara attorneys Price, Postel & Parma, one of the oldest law firms in California. He was a commercial litigator with that firm for 20 years.
Mr. Patterson received his J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, 1997. He is a member of the California and Colorado Bar Association. Mr. Patterson has been active in a number of community organizations through the years, including youth sports and the parks and recreation community foundation (PARC).
