Top Attorney – Garrison Klueck

Garrison “Bud” Klueck, attorney and founding partner at Klueck & Hoppes, has been practicing law for over 30 years. He is a Board-Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the State of California, Board of Legal Specialization, and has been trained in both collaborative law and cooperative law. Garrison has devoted a significant portion of his legal career to serving as a Credential Mediator, certified by the National Dispute Resolution Center, mediating hundreds of family law disputes.

During the last decade, attorney Klueck has also trained as a mental health professional. In that capacity, he has provided individual, couples, and group therapy having earned the status of Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT). Attorney Klueck states that having an understanding of psychology informs much of what does as a family law attorney.

 Besides his doctorate degree in law (Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego), attorney Klueck has three Master’s Degrees.

He earned a Master of Arts degree (MA) in communications from San Diego State University. He earned two degrees from Southern California Seminary, a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology (MACP) and a Master of Religious Studies (MRS). Attorney Klueck has taken hundreds of hours’ worth of courses in minor’s counsel, mediation, contempt, prevention of domestic violence, and other subjects that have served his clients.

Garrison Klueck is a member of the State Bar of California, California Lawyers Association, San Diego County Bar Association, Lawyers Club of San Diego,  Christian Legal Society, Foothills Bar Association and the California Marriage and Family Therapists Association.

 Mr. Klueck’s recent honors include a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Foothills Bar Association (Eastern San Diego County) and Adjunct Law Professor of the Year from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He has served as President of the Foothills Bar and the St. Thomas More Society (religious bar association). Further, he has served three times as Vice President and Director of the San Diego County Bar Association. He was appointed by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors as a Trustee of the San Diego County Public Law Library. Further honors include being named a Super Lawyer five times. Additionally, he was named “Top Attorney” by the San Diego Daily Transcript newspaper three times. Being a Board-Certified Family Law Specialist with extensive mediation experience, attorney Klueck has appeared as a frequent host and guest expert regarding family law issues on 760 KFMB-AM and as a guest expert on CW 6-TV, San Diego (San Diego 6). Over many years, attorney Klueck has appeared hundreds of times on San Diego area television and radio. Prior to and during law school, Attorney Klueck has also worked at ABC, CBS, NBC and NPR stations.
