Prior to owning her own law firm, Rachel took position at a prominent Long Island Matrimonial and Family Law firm where she helped hundreds of people resolve their divorces, custody battles, support cases and other family law issues. She practiced in all five boroughs of New York City, Long Island and Westchester. She also became Senior Associate of the Firm and remained there until late 2010.
Rachel started her own firm so she could focus her passion and attention to her clients and their needs. Rachel graduated from Pace University School of Law, cum laude, in the top ten percent of her class, in 2005. While in law school, she knew Matrimonial and/or Family Law was her chosen field, so enrolled herself in several Family Court internships including New York Legal Assistance Group’s Domestic Violence Clinical Program and Yonkers Family Court Legal Program. She was a member of the Pace Law Review and wrote an article on applying Battered Woman’s Syndrome to victims of domestic violence in same-sex relationships. Rachel is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, Family Law Committee.
