Ms. Marks was certified by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education in appellate practice, the highest level of evaluation available in the state. Ms. Marks focuses her practice on federal and state appellate matters. She also accepts cases involving family law, trusts and litigation. Ms. Marks has been very active in creating legislative in the areas of family law and real property. She has chaired legislation committees including the original committees that wrote family law rules and rules concerning Appellate Board Certification.

Ms. Marks graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University, and she went on to attend the University of Miami School of Law. She received her law degree in 1982, graduating cum laude. She is also highly active within the legal community, having held several positions within state bar and local bar associations. She currently serves on the executive council of The Florida Bar’s Family Law section.
