Mariah Morris, Associate Attorney at Occam immigration, has been admitted to practice law since 2017. She is licensed to practice U.S. federal immigration law in South Carolina, in every state, and throughout the world. Mariah focused her practice in immigration law after spending time working with Catholic Charities Legal Immigration Services. During her final semester in law school, Mariah began clerking at Occam Immigration and became an associate after passing the South Carolina bar exam. Mariah’s work covers all areas of immigration, focusing on family-based cases, asylum, U visas, and naturalization. She also handles state-law related matters for the firm. Mariah can assist with family-based visas which help family members of U.S. Citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents become lawful permanent residents as well, also known as a Green Card holder (sometimes with conditional status). These type of visas are document-intensive, and many people run into problems with what specific evidence is required by the U.S. Government, which can cause significant delays in processing. Mariah will create a straight-forward strategy customized to your case and give you simple guidance so as to prepare the best application.
