Leo J. Pircher is a founding partner of Pircher, Nichols & Meeks and is currently a Senior Counsel in the firm’s real estate department. He is admitted to practice law in the state of California and New York. Mr. Pircher’s practice focuses on commercial real estate joint ventures, development, acquisitions and dispositions. He is one of the pioneers responsible for establishing the framework for today’s legal and tax techniques used by the real estate industry since the 1970s for the acquisition and financing of large real estate properties.

Over the years, he has been involved in major real estate transactions throughout the country, including the acquisition and financing of Playa Vista, several office buildings in Century City, California, several large office buildings in downtown Los Angeles, including Wells Fargo Center, Shutters Hotel in Santa Monica, Houston Center in downtown Houston, several large office buildings in New York City, the Watertower Shopping Center and the Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton Hotels in Chicago as well as numerous other office buildings and regional malls throughout the United States.

Mr. Pircher was Instructor of Law (Phi Alpha Delta), at Loyola University of School of Law, 1959-1962. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S., Phi Beta Kappa, 1954 and received his J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, 1957. He is a member the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
