John W. Beard partner at the law firm, was admitted to the Tennessee (1978) and Georgia State Bar (1979). He concentrates his practice in business and corporate law, estate planning and probate. He spends much of his time dealing with the owners and executives of privately-owned companies for their business and personal needs.

Mr. Beard graduated from the University of Tennessee, receiving his B.S, (1975) and his J.D., (1978), Order of the Coif, Omicron Delta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma and president of the Chattanooga Tax Practitioners (1985-1986). Mr. Beard is a member of the Chattanooga Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia, the Estate planning Council of Chattanooga and the Chattanooga Tax Practitioners.
