Leslie Feifer is a partner with Jaspan Schlesinger LLP in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, where she concentrates her practice in all phases of commercial and residential real estate. She represents institutional and private lenders in mortgage transactions, purchasers and sellers in connection with sales and acquisitions of real property, including retail, office, warehouse, industrial and multi-family properties; owners in connection with sophisticated real estate refinancing transactions; and landlords and tenants in connection with commercial leasing matters.  Leslie has acted as a Receiver and as counsel to the Receivers of multiple commercial properties as well as counsel to incapacitated individuals in varying real estate related scenarios.

Leslie received her Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law and her Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Economics and Housing from Cornell University College of Human Ecology. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and in the State of New Jersey and is a member of the Nassau County and New York State Bar Associations. Leslie has taught as an Adjunct and Special Professor of Law at Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and acted as a mentor to law students. Leslie is also active in numerous professional, business and charitable organizations.

Leslie has been recognized by Long Island Pulse Magazine as a Top Legal Eagle in Real Estate; by Maurice A. Leslie resides in Oceanside, New York with her husband, Kenneth and their dog, Maggie Moo. She enjoys spending time with her nephews Joshua (14) and Benjamin (11).
