Bill Hewitt, a seasoned litigator, became principal in the firm in 1993 and has expanded its practice in Medical Malpractice, Wrongful Death, Serious Personal Injury, Negligence Law; Insurance Litigation; Business Litigation; Commercial law; Mediation; Arbitration as well as overseeing the firm’s Alternative Dispute Resolution business. Mr. Hewitt is the President of ADSRI, Alternative Dispute Services Resolution, Inc. He has been involved with over 3000 cases that went to mediation or arbitration for personal injury and business law. Previously, Mr. Hewitt did 25 years of trial work for the State of Maryland. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland, 1974, the U.S. District Court, District of Maryland; 1977, and the U.S. Supreme Court, 1979.
A native of Washington, D.C., Bill graduated from Loyola College, B.A., 1970 and received his J.D., from the University of Baltimore, 1974. He is a member of the Montgomery County and Maryland State Bar Association; The Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
