Ruth N. Westmont previously served as the chair of the General Practice Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin. She currently serves as the co-chair of the Membership & Special Events committee of the Dane County Bar Association.
Ruth holds both a law degree and a Masters degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a licensed social worker in Wisconsin. She has received advanced training in mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Her past experience includes working as lead litigation counsel for a quasi-governmental association and leading a large non-profit organization.
