Geoffrey attended a joint JD/MA program in law and legal history at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. While at Case Western, he was an editor of the Case Western Reserve Law Review and had his student note published there. He also helped found the Case Western Reserve Journal of Law, Technology and the Internet (JOLTI) and had another note published there. His work experience while studying at Case Western included internships with Human Rights Watch and the Electronic Privacy Information Center and a research position with the American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio, which resulted in a report on the issue of prison privatization in that state. Geoffrey graduated from Cornell University with a BA. Prior to law school, He tutored undergraduates at John Jay College of Criminal Justice through CUNY’s SEEK program. After graduating from Case Western, he returned home to New York City and began a fellowship at the national office of the ACLU researching the growing crisis of America’s aging prisoner population, assisting in coordinating the ACLU’s 50-state lobbying strategy to reverse the national mass incarceration trend that has over the past several decades resulted in increasing numbers of senior citizens behind bars, and co-authoring a report on this issue. Geoffrey then worked in the Manhattan office of Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein P.C. in their labor and employment practice. Geoffrey has been running his own solo law practice since 2012.

Geoffrey was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2016, 2017, and 2018.
