His practice areas include commercial litigation, business, civil trial and appellate, and franchise. Mr. Royce has tried several RICO cases (is a United States federal law that provides for extended criminal penalties and a civil cause of action for acts performed as part of an ongoing criminal organization. He worked with the ACLU The American Civil Liberties Union is a nonprofit organization whose stated mission is “to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States.” Through out his career, Mr. Royce has has successfully obtain multi-million dollars in recoveries for his clients. In addition, his most noteworthy case is Amari v. Burgeous and he help saved the Chicago Theater and has done various pro-bono work. His secret to success is simply working the case. Mr. Royce received his B.A. (1964) and J.D (1967) from the University of Iowa and holds Mertindale-Hubbell’s coveted AV Preeminent Rating.
