Mr. David L. Rowell was born in Montana, but raised in Southern California. Prior to attending law school at McGeorge School of Law of the University of the Pacific in 1988, Mr. Rowell had a career as a Registered Nurse, working in pre-hospital emergency care, intensive care and other hospital settings for many years.
He graduated from McGeorge in 1991 with a Juris Doctor degree with distinction, and received numerous honors at McGeorge—he was a member of their award-winning moot court team, was a member of the Law Review, received multiple American Jurisprudence awards and, on graduation, was inducted into the prestigious Order of the Coif. 
Mr. David L. Rowell attended California State University, and the University of the State of New York. He is a member of the Fresno County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the Central California Trial Lawyers Association, and is a member of Consumer Attorneys of California and the American Association for Justice.
