David Douglas managing partner at the firm, is licensed in Ohio and the United States Tax Court. He has over twenty-five years of experience guiding clients through Business and Corporate Law, as well as Real Estate Law, with an emphasis on hotels and shopping centers. One of his accomplishments were purchasing land sites for Hilton Hotel employees. Attorney David Douglas believes in feeling good in what youre doing and attributes his success in working with and having good rapport with entrepreneurs.
David graduated from Westminster College PA with a Bachelor of Arts, in History & Archeology (1974), Overseas Studies—Pahlavi University, Shiraz, Iran (1971-72) and received his Juris Doctorate from Capital University College of Law (1978). He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. He is involved in various community services: City Council Member, Grove City, Ohio (1979-1983), Chairman of the MORPC Local Government Committee, Local Government Committee (1983-1986) and Law Director, Minerva Park (1984-1988).
David was raised in Pittsburgh, the home of various ethnic groups. He enjoys coaching high school wrestlers and supporting the National Champion Ohio State Wrestling Team. You are welcome to stop by the office after-hours it will be a calming atmosphere, with David playing the piano. Dave also grows giant pumpkins, and placed third two years ago at the Circleville Pumpkin Show with a 1200-pound pumpkin.
