Thomas C. Zanck founding partner of Zanck, Coen, Wright & Saladin, has been an attorney since 1968. He has devoted his practice to litigation in the areas of real estate, entitlement work, bankruptcy law and civil litigation. In 1975, Thomas was admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, including the Trial Bar, and the U.S. Supreme Court. In the year 2000, he was admitted to practice in the state of Wisconsin.

A lifelong resident of Illinois, Mr. Zanck brilliantly applies his in-depth knowledge of Illinois statutes and case law for every client — from banking law to zoning and development.

Mr. Zanck graduated cum laude from Loras College in 1965, attained his J.D. from Georgetown University in 1968. He is a graduate of the Court Practice Institute, and has been the Chairman of the Legislative Affairs Committee of the McHenry County Economic Development Corporation for many years, Mr. Zanck is a past president of the McHenry County Bar Association, a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and  the Illinois Defense Counsel. Additionally he posts video blog articles.

One of Mr. Zanck’s many entitlement projects was serving as the lead counsel in assisting Del Webb in the entitlement of its largest four season retirement community in Huntley, IL.

He and his wife, Charie, are residents of McHenry County near Bull Valley. They enjoy worldwide travel.
